A Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temple located in Deer Island, Oregon
Myokoin is a small, rural Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temple located on the Columbia River in Deer Island, Oregon. Rev. Diane Jishin Dunn is the resident Buddhist minister. "Myokoin" means "Temple of Wondrous Light".
The temple is affiliated the Nishi Hongwanji-ha (Kyoto, Japan) and the European District Shin Sanghas and is generously supported by the International Association of Buddhist Culture (Kyoto, Japan).
